Our Office

Dr. Carlson’s office is located in downtown Rochester just two blocks from Mayo Clinic. It is in a professional building that includes a bank, attorneys, radio stations, and a publications business and is connected to all the downtown buildings and businesses by skyways and subways. We also provide validated parking to an attached city parking ramp for our patients.

We are located on the 7th floor with windows facing north with a beautiful view of the Rochester landscape. Our office shares a reception room with another dental office. We are small but efficient. The office is decorated in relaxing, calming colors with photos of peaceful outdoor landscapes. Each treatment room has a full wall of windows. For patient comfort, we provide Ipod music with Bose sound-canceling headphones and pillows and blankets in each room. Our office is fully equipped with an in-house lab where we perform our own model and die work, construct splints, and make our own gold crowns, inlays, and onlays. We provide a quarterly newsletter to our patients to keep them informed about the latest dental health issues and also keep them updated on the activities of our staff and their families. Our patients appreciate the personal touch we bring to our newsletter.

We have a team with a combined 100+ years of experience in our office alone. They are very knowledgeable, loyal, committed, caring, energetic, patient-centered and fun. Our patients are business and professional people working in downtown Rochester, elderly people from retirement communities, and young families with children. We strive to serve these patients who seek optimum oral health. Dr. Carlson is a general dentist specializing in restorative and esthetic dentistry. He is a member of the Pankey Institute, American Equilibration Society, American Dental Association, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, which is committed to high ethical and educational standards. He also has advanced training in TMD Treatment.
